Foresight Report
Your care provider has asked you to contact us to arrange a financial assessment
The Foresight financial assessment is designed to be useful to you as well as the care provider. The assessment will give you useful information about the affordability of the care you have chosen.
We may also offer guidance on some other aspects of your situation.
The assessment is carried out at 'arms-length' from your care provider so they will not receive any of your financial details. These are kept securely on our systems. You can also ask us any questions about your care or personal and financial situation.
Both you and your care provider will receive a report from us showing the length of time for which we believe you can fund your care.
THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS
Our job is to prove to your care provider that you can meet their fees. Therefore during the assessment we will ask to see the following items:
-
Proof of your income. This can be a bank statement, a payslip, or a letter from the DWP or a pension fund.
-
Proof of your assets. If you have savings, bonds, investments, ISA's, shares or any other assets we will ask to see current statements.
-
The full address of any property so that we can check the Land Registry to ensure that you are the registered owner.
-
Details of any mortgages, loans or other debts and current statements.
-
Any power of attorney document that you hold.

We will review your situation and provide you with appropriate guidance about other services that may be useful to you.
The assessment is usually conducted remotely by email and/or post although it can be carried out face to face if you live near our Worthing office
